This decadent dessert combines the best of both worlds: the classic comfort of a warm chocolate chip cookie and the elegant presentation of a pie. It’s a crowd-pleaser that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Unbaked 9-inch pie crust 1
Unsalted butter, melted 1/2 cup
Granulated sugar 1/2 cup
Packed brown sugar 1/2 cup
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Large eggs 2
All-purpose flour 3/4 cup
Salt 1/4 teaspoon
Semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup
Chopped walnuts or pecans (optional) 1/2 cup

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Prepare Filling:
    • In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
    • Beat in vanilla extract and eggs until smooth.
    • Stir in flour and salt until just combined.
    • Fold in chocolate chips and nuts (if using).
  3. Assemble Pie:
    • Place pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan. Crimp edges as desired.
    • Pour filling into crust, spreading evenly.
  4. Bake:
    • Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
    • Cool on a wire rack for 30 minutes before slicing.
