Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Onions, thinly sliced 2 large
Almond flour 1/2 cup
Eggs 2 large
Grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup
Water 1/4 cup
Baking powder 1 teaspoon
Garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon
Onion powder 1/2 teaspoon
Salt 1/2 teaspoon
Pepper 1/4 teaspoon
Olive oil or avocado oil For frying

Instructions:

  1. Combine dry ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, Parmesan cheese, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add wet ingredients: Add the eggs and water to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  3. Fold in onions: Gently fold in the thinly sliced onions until they are evenly coated with the batter.
  4. Heat skillet: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan.
  5. Fry fritters: Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the skillet, flattening them slightly with the back of the spoon. Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Drain and serve: Remove the fritters from the skillet and drain on a paper towel-lined plate to remove any excess oil. Serve hot and enjoy!
