Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Tortilla chips (large bags) 2
Ground beef 1 lb.
Taco seasoning (1 packet) 1
Diced onion 1/2
Refried beans (16 oz. can) 1
Shredded cheese 16 oz.
Diced Roma tomatoes 3
Chopped green onions 2-3

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook beef: Heat ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium-high heat until the meat is browned and the onion is softened. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add seasoning: Reduce heat to low and stir in taco seasoning. Saute for a few minutes longer.
  4. Layer nachos: Place one bag of tortilla chips on each of two baking sheets. Top with half of the refried beans and meat mixture.
  5. Add cheese: Divide the cheese evenly between the two baking sheets.
  6. Bake: Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  7. Serve: Immediately sprinkle with chopped tomato and green onion. Serve and enjoy!
