These fluffy and flaky Crescent Cheese Danishes are a delightful treat that’s perfect for breakfast or dessert. The buttery crescent dough is filled with a creamy cream cheese filling and then drizzled with a sweet glaze.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
For the Danish
Refrigerated crescent roll dough 2 cans (8 oz each)
Egg yolk 1
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Granulated sugar ½ cup
Cream cheese, softened 1 package (8 oz)
For the Glaze
Powdered sugar 1 cup
Milk 1-2 tablespoons
Vanilla extract ½ teaspoon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare baking sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  3. Make cream cheese filling: In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Prepare crescent rolls: Open crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Fold corners to create diamond shapes.
  5. Add filling: Place 1-2 tablespoons of cream cheese filling into the center of each triangle.
  6. Egg wash: Brush edges of crescent rolls with egg white.
  7. Bake: Place filled crescent rolls on baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese filling is set.
  8. Make glaze: In a bowl, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  9. Glaze danishes: Drizzle glaze over cooled danishes.
