Ingredients:

Ingredients Quantity
Puff pastry 1 large sheet, thawed
Sour cream 1/4 cup
Cream cheese 4 oz, softened
Parmesan cheese 2 tablespoons, grated
Ranch seasoning 1 (1 oz) packet
Dried dill 1/2 teaspoon
Mozzarella cheese 1 1/2 cups, shredded
Dill pickle chips 1 cup
Egg 1, beaten (for egg wash)
Garnish Fresh dill, red pepper flakes, additional Parmesan

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Turn on your oven and set it to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the Puff Pastry: Take a large sheet of puff pastry and let it thaw if frozen. Roll it out on a floured surface to smooth out any wrinkles.
  3. Make the Cheese Mixture: In a bowl, mix together 1/4 cup sour cream, 4 oz softened cream cheese, 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, 1 packet of ranch seasoning, and 1/2 teaspoon dried dill until well combined.
  4. Spread the Cheese Mixture: Evenly spread the cheese mixture over the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Add Mozzarella and Pickles: Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese over the cheese mixture. Then, evenly distribute 1 cup of dill pickle chips on top of the mozzarella.
  6. Fold and Seal: Carefully fold the puff pastry over the cheese and pickle filling to form a long rectangle or roll. Press the edges together to seal.
  7. Brush with Egg Wash: Place the assembled bread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the beaten egg over the top and sides of the puff pastry.
  8. Bake: Put the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
  9. Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove the cheesy pickle bread from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with fresh dill, red pepper flakes, and additional Parmesan cheese if desired. Slice and serve warm.
