Cheesesteak Taco Fries

This recipe combines the classic flavors of a cheesesteak with the fun and easy-to-eat format of loaded fries. It’s a perfect game-day snack or a satisfying weeknight meal.

Ingredients:

Frozen waffle fries 1 bag
Ground beef 1 lb
Onion 1, chopped
Taco seasoning 1 packet
Shredded cheddar jack cheese 2 cups
Chopped green onions ½ cup
Diced tomato 1

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. Cook fries: Cook waffle fries on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 20-25 minutes, or until crispy.
  3. Cook beef and onion: In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned and onions are softened. Drain excess grease.
  4. Add seasoning: Reduce heat to low and stir in taco seasoning. Cook for a few more minutes, stirring to combine.
  5. Assemble: Top cooked fries with the beef mixture, then sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Bake: Bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
