How To Make Baked Sweet and Sour Chicken:
- Step 1: Preheat and Prep Chicken: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking dish with cooking spray or a light coating of oil. Cut the 1.5 lbs chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
- Step 2: Prepare Coating: In a large mixing bowl, combine the 1/2 cup cornstarch, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. In a separate bowl, beat the 1 large egg and mix in 2 tablespoons soy sauce and 1 tablespoon rice vinegar.
