👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat
    Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9×13‑inch baking pan with nonstick spray.
  2. Prepare rolls
    Slice the package of rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected. Place bottom halves in the pan.
  3. Layer fillings
    Add half the Swiss cheese, then all the ham, all the turkey, and the remaining Swiss cheese. Top with the roll tops.
  4. Brush topping
    Whisk melted butter, egg, and pepper. Brush evenly over the rolls.
  5. Bake
    Bake 25 minutes until cheese is melted and buns are golden. Tent with foil if browning too quickly.
  6. Finish
    Remove from oven, sprinkle lightly with powdered sugar, and serve warm with jam or maple syrup.
