This recipe brings back the nostalgic flavor of classic cafeteria noodles. It’s a simple yet comforting dish that’s perfect for a quick and easy meal.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Egg noodles 12 ounces
Unsalted butter 4 tablespoons
All-purpose flour 1/4 cup
Chicken broth 2 cups
Whole milk 1 cup
Garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon
Onion powder 1/2 teaspoon
Salt 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper 1/4 teaspoon
Grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup

Instructions:

  1. Cook Noodles:

    • Boil a large pot of salted water.
    • Add egg noodles and cook according to package directions.
    • Drain and set aside.
  2. Make Sauce:

    • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Whisk in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
    • Gradually whisk in chicken broth and milk.
    • Cook until thickened, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Combine and Season:

    • Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
    • Add cooked noodles and toss to coat.
    • Stir in Parmesan cheese and cook for 2-3 minutes.
