Ingredients:

Quantity Ingredient
3 cups All-purpose flour
1 tablespoon Baking powder
1 tablespoon Baking soda
1 tablespoon Ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon Salt
1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) Butter, room temperature
1 1/2 cups Granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups Light-brown sugar, packed
3 Eggs
1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
3 cups Semisweet chocolate chips
3 cups Old-fashioned rolled oats
2 cups Sweetened flake coconut
2 cups Chopped pecans

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt. Mix well and set aside.
  3. In a separate very large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the butter until creamy. Gradually add the granulated sugar and light-brown sugar, mixing until thoroughly combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, beating on low until just combined.
  6. Stir in the semisweet chocolate chips, old-fashioned rolled oats, sweetened flake coconut, and chopped pecans until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop portions of dough, approximately 1/4 cup each, onto an ungreased baking sheet, spacing them 3 inches apart.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-17 minutes, rotating the baking sheets halfway through the baking time. The edges of the cookies should be lightly browned.
  9. Remove the cookies from the oven and transfer them to a wire rack to cool.
