Homemade French Fries
A classic comfort food, elevated. These homemade French fries are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Perfect for dipping in your favorite sauce.

Garlic Powder | 1/2 teaspoon |

Instructions:
- Prep the Potatoes:
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into even-sized sticks.
- Rinse the cut potatoes under cold water to remove excess starch.
- Pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.
- Preheat the Oil:
- Fill a large pot or Dutch oven with vegetable oil, leaving enough room for the potatoes.
- Heat the oil over medium-high heat to 325°F (163°C).
- First Fry:
- Working in batches, carefully add the potatoes to the hot oil.
- Fry for 5-7 minutes or until they start to turn golden.
- Remove and drain on a paper towel-lined baking sheet.
- Increase Oil Temperature:
- Increase the heat to 375°F (190°C).
- Second Fry:
- Return the partially fried potatoes to the hot oil in batches.
- Fry for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and drain on a paper towel-lined baking sheet.
- Season (Optional):
- Toss the hot fries with the seasoning mixture, if desired.
- Serve:
- Transfer the fries to a serving platter.
- Sprinkle with salt to taste.
- Serve hot and crispy.
