Cabbage (finely shredded) 250 g (1/2 lb)
Onion (finely chopped) 1
Egg 1
Olive oil For sautéing
Cheese (grated) 150 g (5 oz)
Mayonnaise 2 tbsp
Salt and pepper To taste
Parsley (chopped) Optional

Instructions:

  1. Prepare ingredients: Shred cabbage, chop onion, grate cheese.
  2. Cook onion and minced meat: Sauté onion in olive oil until soft. Add minced meat and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Combine meat with cabbage: Add shredded cabbage to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook until cabbage softens.
  4. Add egg and mayonnaise: Beat egg and mayonnaise. Pour into skillet and stir to combine.
  5. Incorporate cheese: Sprinkle half of the grated cheese into the skillet and stir until melted.
  6. Bake or finish cooking: Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes, or continue cooking in the skillet on low heat until cheese is melted.
