These Crispy Chicken Fritters are an incredibly easy and delicious way to transform canned chicken into a satisfying meal or appetizer. Packed with savory flavor and a crispy exterior, they’re perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a crowd-pleasing snack.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Canned chicken, drained 2 cans (12.5 oz each)
All-purpose flour 1/2 cup
Breadcrumbs 1/2 cup
Large eggs 2
Milk 1/4 cup
Grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup
Chopped fresh parsley 1/4 cup
Garlic powder 1 teaspoon
Onion powder 1/2 teaspoon
Salt To taste
Pepper To taste
Vegetable oil For frying

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Fritter Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the drained canned chicken, all-purpose flour, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
  2. Heat Oil: Heat about 1/4 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Ensure the oil is hot before adding the fritters to achieve a crispy exterior.
  3. Form and Fry Fritters: Scoop approximately 1/4 cup of the chicken mixture and gently shape it into a patty. Carefully place the patty into the hot oil. Fry for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until the fritters are golden brown and wonderfully crispy.
  4. Drain Excess Oil: Remove the cooked fritters from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
  5. Repeat and Serve: Repeat the process with the remaining chicken mixture. Serve the crispy chicken fritters warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
