Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Bacon, chopped 6 slices
Onion, diced 1 large
Garlic, minced 2 cloves
Cabbage, cored and sliced 1 large head
Salt 1 tablespoon (or to taste)
Black pepper, ground 1 teaspoon
Onion powder 1/2 teaspoon
Garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon
Paprika 1/8 teaspoon

Instructions:

  1. Cook bacon: Place the bacon in a large stockpot and cook over medium-high heat until crispy, about 10 minutes.
  2. Add onion and garlic: Remove the bacon and set aside. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the stockpot. Cook and stir until the onion caramelizes, about 10 minutes.
  3. Add cabbage: Stir in the sliced cabbage and continue to cook and stir for another 10 minutes.
