Ingredient Quantity
Garlic, minced 2 cloves
Olive oil 1/3 cup
Soy sauce 4 tablespoons
Lemon juice 4 tablespoons
Worcestershire sauce 3 tablespoons
Italian herb seasoning 1 tablespoon
Cayenne pepper 1 teaspoon
Black pepper 1 teaspoon
White pepper ½ teaspoon
Salt ½ teaspoon

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a medium-sized bowl, combine all the marinade ingredients: minced garlic, olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Italian herb seasoning, cayenne pepper, black pepper, white pepper, and salt. Whisk until well combined.
  2. Marinate the Steaks: Place the steaks in a zip-lock bag. Pour the marinade over the steaks and seal the bag. Gently massage the marinade into the steaks through the bag.
  3. Refrigerate: Refrigerate the steaks for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to penetrate and the meat to tenderize.
  4. Cook the Steaks: Place a cast-iron skillet over high heat. Once the skillet is very hot, add the marinated steaks.
  5. Sear: Sear the steaks for 5 to 8 minutes on one side, then flip them.
  6. Cook to Desired Doneness: Cook for 3 to 4 minutes on the other side for medium to well-done steaks. Adjust cooking time for your preferred level of doneness.
  7. Rest: Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Finish: Top the rested steaks with butter.
  9. Serve: Serve immediately with your favorite sides and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Enjoy!
