Wendy’s Copycat Chili Slow Cooker

Craving Wendy’s chili but want to enjoy it from the comfort of your own home? This copycat recipe recreates the classic Wendy’s chili flavor in your slow cooker.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Green bell pepper, chopped 1
Yellow onion, diced 1
Ground beef 2 lbs
Tomato sauce 1 (29 oz.) can
Diced tomatoes (not drained) 2 (1.5 oz.) cans
Celery, chopped 3 ribs
Pinto beans, drained 1 (29 oz.) can
Kidney beans, drained 1 (29 oz.) can
Beef broth 2 cups
Cumin powder 1 tbsp
Chili powder 1/4 cup
Sugar 1 tbsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Black pepper 1 tsp

Instructions:

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet and discard grease.
  2. Transfer browned beef to a 6-quart slow cooker.
  3. Add remaining ingredients to slow cooker and stir to combine.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-6 hours.
  5. Ladle into serving bowls and garnish as desired.
