Wendy’s Copycat Chili Slow Cooker

Ingredients:

Green bell pepper, chopped | 1 |
Yellow onion, diced | 1 |
Ground beef | 2 lbs |
Tomato sauce | 1 (29 oz.) can |
Diced tomatoes (not drained) | 2 (1.5 oz.) cans |
Celery, chopped | 3 ribs |
Pinto beans, drained | 1 (29 oz.) can |
Kidney beans, drained | 1 (29 oz.) can |
Beef broth | 2 cups |
Cumin powder | 1 tbsp |
Chili powder | 1/4 cup |
Sugar | 1 tbsp |
Salt | 1/2 tsp |
Black pepper | 1 tsp |
Instructions:
- Brown ground beef in a skillet and discard grease.
- Transfer browned beef to a 6-quart slow cooker.
- Add remaining ingredients to slow cooker and stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-6 hours.
- Ladle into serving bowls and garnish as desired.
