Baked Blooming Onions
Ingredients:

| Large sweet onion | 1 | 
| All-purpose flour | 1/2 cup | 
| Breadcrumbs | 1/2 cup | 
| Paprika | 1 tsp | 
| Garlic powder | 1/2 tsp | 
| Onion powder | 1/2 tsp | 
| Dried oregano | 1/2 tsp | 
| Salt | 1/2 tsp | 
| Black pepper | 1/4 tsp | 
| Eggs | 2 large | 
| Milk | 2 tbsp | 
| Olive oil spray | As needed | 
| Dipping sauce | Your choice | 
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut off the top of the onion and peel outer layer. Make vertical cuts from 1/2 inch from root to create petals.
- Gently separate petals without breaking them.
- Combine flour, breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Whisk eggs and milk in another bowl.
- Dredge onion in egg mixture, then in flour mixture.
- Spray onion with olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until crispy and tender.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
