Garlic, minced 2 cloves
Shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup
Sour cream 1 cup
Milk ½ cup
Butter 2 tablespoons

Paprika 1 teaspoon
Chopped fresh parsley 2 tablespoons

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven & Cook Ground Beef: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the 1 lb of ground beef until it is browned. Drain any excess fat. Add the 1 chopped medium onion and 2 minced cloves of garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent. Season the beef mixture with salt, pepper, and 1 teaspoon of paprika. Stir well and set aside.
  2. Make the Creamy Sauce: In a separate saucepan, melt the 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Stir in the ½ cup of milk and 1 cup of sour cream until the sauce is smooth and combined.
  3. Layer the Casserole: Arrange half of the sliced potatoes in a single layer at the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread the seasoned ground beef mixture evenly over the potatoes, then layer the remaining sliced potatoes on top. Pour the sour cream mixture evenly over the potatoes and beef.
