Ingredients:

Hot dogs | 3 (32 oz) packages |
BBQ sauce | ⅔ cup |
Yellow mustard | ⅓ cup |
Liquid smoke | 2 teaspoons |
Paprika | 1 tablespoon |
Garlic powder | 2 teaspoons |
Onion powder | 2 teaspoons |
Salt | ½ teaspoon |
Black pepper | 1 teaspoon |
Brown sugar | ½ cup (divided) |
Instructions:
- Preheat and Prep: Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Slice Hot Dogs: Cut hot dogs into thirds or quarters and place in prepared baking dish.
- Combine Sauce Mixture: Mix BBQ sauce, yellow mustard, and liquid smoke. Pour over hot dogs.
- Prepare Seasoning: Combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and ¼ cup brown sugar. Sprinkle over hot dogs.
- Bake: Bake for 1 hour, tossing halfway through.
- Caramelize: Sprinkle remaining ¼ cup brown sugar over hot dogs. Increase oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Bake for 10-15 minutes or until crispy.
