Walking Taco Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:

Onion, chopped 1 cup
Cream cheese 3 oz
Taco seasoning packet 1 packet
Green chilis 1 can
Fritos corn chips 2-3 cups
Shredded taco blend cheese 1 cup
Roma tomato, chopped 1
Lettuce, shredded 1-2 cups
Salsa (for garnish) As desired
Sour cream (for garnish) As desired

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
  2. Cook beef and onion: Place the ground beef and chopped onion in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat on the stove. Sauté until the meat is browned and the onions have softened.
  3. Add seasoning and cheese: Add the taco seasoning, green chilis, and cream cheese to the skillet. Sauté until the cream cheese is completely melted and well combined with the beef mixture.
  4. Layer with chips and cheese: Top the beef mixture in the skillet with the Fritos corn chips, spreading them out evenly. Then, sprinkle the shredded taco blend cheese over the corn chips.
