This delightful dessert combines the flavors of a classic apple pie with the fluffy texture of biscuits. It’s a perfect treat for any occasion, and it’s surprisingly easy to make.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Peeled and sliced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp) 6 cups
Granulated sugar 1/2 cup
Brown sugar 1/4 cup
Ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon
Ground nutmeg 1/4 teaspoon
Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
All-purpose flour 1/4 cup
Refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits) 1 can
Melted butter 2 tablespoons
Caramel sauce (optional) 1/4 cup

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and flour. Toss to coat the apples.
  3. Spread the apple mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Cut the biscuits into quarters and arrange them over the apple mixture.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the biscuit pieces.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the apples are tender.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with caramel sauce, if desired.
