Ingredients:

Pasta and Water

Ingredient Quantity
Water 1 liter
Salt 1 teaspoon
Spaghetti pasta 200 grams

Sauce:

Ingredient Quantity
Lemon (peeled and juiced) 1
Garlic 3 cloves (sliced thin)
Unsalted butter 1 tablespoon
Olive oil Drizzle
Heavy cream 200 grams
Black pepper Pinch
Fresh parsley To taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Pasta:
  • Boil salted water in a large saucepan.
  • Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions. Reserve some pasta water before draining.
  1. Prepare the Lemon and Garlic:
  • Peel lemon and cut peel into small cubes.
  • Juice half the peeled lemon.
  • Slice garlic cloves thinly.
  1. Make the Sauce:
  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium-low heat.
  • Add olive oil, garlic, and lemon peel. Cook until golden brown.
  • Stir in lemon juice, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
  • Add reserved pasta water to desired consistency.
  1. Combine and Serve:
  • Add cooked spaghetti and whole garlic cloves to the sauce. Toss to coat.
  • Stir in fresh parsley.
  • Serve immediately.
