Minced garlic 3 tsp
Italian seasoning 1 tsp
White cooking wine ½ cup
Diced tomatoes, not drained 28 oz can

Instructions:

  1. Brown Meat & Soften Peppers: Add the ground Italian sausage and chopped bell peppers to a large saucepan or skillet with deep sides. Place over medium-high heat. Cook, breaking up the sausage, until the meat is completely browned and the peppers have begun to soften.
  2. Add Garlic & Seasoning: Lower the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic and Italian seasoning to the skillet. Sauté for 30 seconds longer until fragrant.
  3. Deglaze with Wine: Mix in the white cooking wine. Continue to sauté until the liquid in the pot is reduced by half.
