This comforting chicken and noodles crockpot recipe is a perfect dish for a cozy day. The creamy sauce and tender chicken pair perfectly with the hearty egg noodles.

Ingredients:
Ingredient | Quantity |
---|---|
Cream of chicken soup | 2 cans (10.75 oz each) |
Chicken broth | 2 cans (15 oz each) |
Butter or margarine | 1 stick (8 Tbsp) |
Chicken breasts (fresh or frozen) | 1 lb |
Frozen egg noodles | 1 package (24 oz) |
Instructions:
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker.
- Pour the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth over the chicken.
- Place the stick of butter on top.
- Cook on low for 6-7 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it.
- Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker.
- Add the frozen egg noodles to the slow cooker.
- Cook for 2 more hours, or until the noodles are cooked and the sauce has thickened. Stir every 30 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Tip: For extra flavor, you can add chopped vegetables like carrots, celery, or onions to the slow cooker with the chicken.
