This comforting chicken and noodles crockpot recipe is a perfect dish for a cozy day. The creamy sauce and tender chicken pair perfectly with the hearty egg noodles.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Cream of chicken soup 2 cans (10.75 oz each)
Chicken broth 2 cans (15 oz each)
Butter or margarine 1 stick (8 Tbsp)
Chicken breasts (fresh or frozen) 1 lb
Frozen egg noodles 1 package (24 oz)

Instructions:

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker.
  2. Pour the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth over the chicken.
  3. Place the stick of butter on top.
  4. Cook on low for 6-7 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it.
  6. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker.
  7. Add the frozen egg noodles to the slow cooker.
  8. Cook for 2 more hours, or until the noodles are cooked and the sauce has thickened. Stir every 30 minutes.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!

Tip: For extra flavor, you can add chopped vegetables like carrots, celery, or onions to the slow cooker with the chicken.
