This decadent Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie is a delicious twist on a classic dessert. It combines the gooey goodness of a cookie with the convenience of a pie.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Unbaked 9-inch pie crust 1
Granulated sugar 1 cup
Brown sugar, packed 1 cup
Unsalted butter, softened 1 cup (2 sticks)
Large eggs 2
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
All-purpose flour ½ cup
Baking powder ½ teaspoon
Salt ¼ teaspoon
Semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 ½ cups
Chopped nuts (optional) 1 cup

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare Pie Crust: Prepare the pie crust according to package directions and place it in a 9-inch pie plate.
  3. Cream Ingredients: In a large bowl, cream together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and softened butter until light and fluffy.
  4. Add Wet Ingredients: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Add Mix-ins: Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped nuts, if using.
  8. Fill Pie Crust: Pour the cookie dough into the prepared pie crust.
  9. Bake: Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Cool and Serve: Let the pie cool completely before slicing and serving.
