Garlic powder 1 tsp

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the sausage: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the ground breakfast sausage until it’s completely browned. Remove the cooked sausage from the skillet and set it aside.
  3. Cook the hashbrowns: Using the same skillet, heat the frozen hashbrown potatoes until they are lightly browned and mostly defrosted, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Layer the casserole: Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish. Layer the lightly browned hashbrowns in the bottom of the dish.
  5. Add sausage and toppings: Layer the cooked sausage evenly over the hashbrowns. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the sausage, and then distribute the drained diced green chiles over the cheese.
  6. Prepare the egg mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
  7. Pour egg mixture: Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layers of the casserole.
  8. Bake: Bake the casserole uncovered for 35-40 minutes, or until the eggs are completely set and the top is golden brown.
  9. Serve: Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
