Strong Black Coffee 1 cup
Unsweetened Cocoa Powder 1/3 cup
Eggs 2
Buttermilk 1/2 cup

For the Chocolate Frosting:

For the Turtle Topping:

Caramel Sauce 1 cup

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a baking pan or use parchment paper.
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine granulated sugar and self-rising flour.
  3. Make Wet Ingredients: In a saucepan, combine butter, coffee, and cocoa. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Pour into dry ingredients. Mix on medium speed until combined. Add eggs and buttermilk. Mix for another minute.
  4. Bake: Pour batter into baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
