Prepare the oven and baking dish: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

Make the meatballs: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, grated onion, garlic powder, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Form into 1 1/2 tablespoon-sized meatballs.
