Sugar Plum Shortbread Cookies

Ingredients:

Unsalted Butter (softened) 1 cup
Powdered Sugar 1/2 cup
Vanilla Extract 1 teaspoon
All-Purpose Flour 2 cups
Salt 1/4 teaspoon
Dried Plums (finely chopped) 1/2 cup
Granulated Sugar 1/4 cup (for rolling)
Ground Cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon (optional, for rolling)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:

    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream Butter and Sugar:

    • Cream together butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
    • Mix in vanilla extract.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients:
