Ground pork | 1/2 pound |
Cheddar cheese | 1 cup shredded |
Breadcrumbs | 1 cup |
Onion | 1 small, finely chopped |
Garlic | 2 cloves, minced |
Milk | 1/2 cup |
Ketchup | 1/2 cup |
Eggs | 2 large, lightly beaten |
Worcestershire sauce | 1 tablespoon |
Dijon mustard | 1 tablespoon |
Salt | 1 teaspoon |
Black pepper | 1/2 teaspoon |
Dried thyme | 1/2 teaspoon |
Dried oregano | 1/4 teaspoon |
Smoked paprika | 1/4 teaspoon |
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
- Combine ground beef, ground pork, cheddar cheese, and breadcrumbs in a large bowl.
- Add onion, garlic, milk, ketchup, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, thyme, oregano, and smoked paprika to the bowl. Mix well with your hands.
- Shape the meat mixture into a loaf on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for about 1 hour, or until cooked through (internal temperature of 160°F/70°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
