This classic meatloaf gets a cheesy upgrade with the addition of shredded cheddar cheese. It’s a hearty and satisfying dish perfect for a family dinner.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Ground beef 1 1/2 pounds
Ground pork 1/2 pound
Cheddar cheese 1 cup shredded
Breadcrumbs 1 cup
Onion 1 small, finely chopped
Garlic 2 cloves, minced
Milk 1/2 cup
Ketchup 1/2 cup
Eggs 2 large, lightly beaten
Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon
Dijon mustard 1 tablespoon
Salt 1 teaspoon
Black pepper 1/2 teaspoon
Dried thyme 1/2 teaspoon
Dried oregano 1/4 teaspoon
Smoked paprika 1/4 teaspoon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  2. Combine ground beef, ground pork, cheddar cheese, and breadcrumbs in a large bowl.
  3. Add onion, garlic, milk, ketchup, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, thyme, oregano, and smoked paprika to the bowl. Mix well with your hands.
  4. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for about 1 hour, or until cooked through (internal temperature of 160°F/70°C).
  6. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
