Ingredients:

Ingredients Quantity
Flour 250g
Ointment Butter 100g
Sugar 80g
Yolks 3
Egg 1
Vanilla 1 tsp
Baking Powder 1 tsp
Bicarbonate of Soda 1 tsp
Cocoa Powder 3 tbsp
Dulce de Leche Confectioner w/n As needed

Instructions:

  1. Make the Mass:
    • Beat butter and sugar until creamy.
    • Add egg and vanilla, then mix in sifted dry ingredients.
    • Combine with hands, wrap in film, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  2. Roll and Bake:
    • Roll out the dough and cut lids.
    • Place on a buttered and floured plate.
    • Bake at 180°C for 10-12 minutes. Avoid excessive browning.
    • Let cool and fill with dulce de leche.
  3. Snow Cover:
    • Mix 200g powdered sugar with an egg white and a few drops of lemon juice.
    • Make a light syrup with 200g common sugar and 50cc water.
    • Pour the hot syrup over the glaze and mix. Use immediately to coat the alfajores.
    • Let them dry for a snowy finish.
