Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Chicken drumsticks or thighs, skin removed 6-8 (about 3 pounds)
Ketchup 1 cup
Brown sugar 1/3 cup
Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon
Red pepper flake 1/4 teaspoon
Onion soup mix 1 packet
Water 1/3 cup
Cornstarch 1 tablespoon

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, red pepper flake, and onion soup mix. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
  2. Thicken the Sauce: In a separate small bowl, whisk the cornstarch into the water until dissolved. Add this cornstarch mixture to the sauce mixture and stir well to combine.
  3. Assemble & Cook: Coat the insert of your slow cooker with nonstick spray. Arrange the chicken drumsticks or thighs in a single layer in the crockpot. Pour the prepared sauce mixture evenly over the chicken, ensuring it’s well coated.
  4. Slow Cook: Cover the slow cooker with its lid. Cook on low for 5 hours or on high for 3 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and very tender.
