Slow Cooker Amish Cube Steak with Brown Gravy

This is the kind of supper you turn to when you’re worn out but still want something hearty and comforting on the table. It’s a simple, rural Midwest classic—just beef, brown gravy, onions, and potatoes doing the work while the slow cooker hums along. Raw cube steaks go in, gravy gets poured over, and by the time dinner rolls around, the meat is fork-tender and the house smells like someone’s been cooking all afternoon.
