Sausage Cream Cheese Casserole

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Sausage crumbles 2 (9.6 oz each) packages
Cream cheese 8 oz
Crescent roll dough 2 (8 oz each) packages

Instructions:

  1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Cook Sausage & Cream Cheese: In a medium pot over low heat, cook the 2 packages of sausage crumbles with the 8 oz of cream cheese. Stir occasionally until the cream cheese is fully melted and completely combined with the sausage.
  3. Prepare the Casserole: Unroll one package of the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Pinch the seams together to form a solid, even layer. Spread the cooked sausage and cream cheese mixture evenly over the bottom layer of crescent roll dough. Unroll the second package of crescent roll dough and place it over the sausage mixture. Pinch the seams together and press the edges down to seal the casserole.
  4. Bake & Serve: Bake in the preheated oven for 14-16 minutes, or until the top is a golden brown and the dough is cooked through. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before slicing it into squares and serving warm.
