No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars
Ingredients:

| Butter | 1 cup |
| Packed brown sugar | 1/2 cup |
| Vanilla extract | 1 teaspoon |
| Quick cooking oats | 3 cups |
| Semisweet chocolate chips | 1 cup |
| Peanut butter | 1/2 cup |
How To Make No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars:
Step 1: Prep Crust Base: Grease a 9×9 inch square pan. Melt 1 cup butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1 tsp vanilla extract.

Step 2: Cook Oats and Form Crust: Mix in the 3 cups quick cooking oats. Cook over low heat for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the ingredients are well blended. Press half of the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust. Reserve the other half for the topping.

Step 3: Make Chocolate Layer: Meanwhile, melt 1 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup peanut butter in a small heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently until smooth. Pour the chocolate mixture over the crust in the pan, and spread evenly with a knife or the back of a spoon.
Step 4: Top and Chill: Crumble the remaining oat mixture over the chocolate layer, pressing it in gently.2 Cover the pan, and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours or overnight until firm. Bring to room temperature before cutting into bars.
