Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Ritz or saltine crackers 12
Creamy peanut butter ½ cup
Normal-sized marshmallows 12

Instructions:

  1. Preheat & Prep Baking Sheet: Preheat your oven to the broil setting. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and for easy cleanup. Set the prepared baking sheet aside.
  2. Assemble Crackers: Take each of the 12 Ritz or saltine crackers and spread approximately 1 teaspoon of creamy peanut butter evenly on top of it. Gently press one normal-sized marshmallow on top of the peanut butter on each cracker.
  3. Broil: Carefully place the assembled crackers onto the prepared baking sheet. Place the baking sheet under the broiler. Watch them very closely, as marshmallows can brown and burn quickly! Broil for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until the marshmallows are puffed, golden brown, and toasted to your liking.
  4. Cool Slightly & Serve: Remove from the oven immediately. Let them cool for just a minute or two, as the marshmallows will be very hot and gooey. Enjoy these warm, gooey, and crunchy Poor Man’s Treats right away!
