Step 3: Create the Base: In a medium saucepan, melt 1 cup butter with 1 cup creamy peanut butter over medium heat. Once it reaches a gentle boil, remove from the heat.

Step 4: Combine Dough: Slowly stir the dry ingredients into the melted peanut butter mixture. Then add the milk/egg mixture and stir until the batter is smooth and well mixed.

Step 5: Bake Bars: Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the bars cool completely in the pan.

Step 6: Make the Frosting: In a small saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter with 1/2 cup peanut butter. Bring just to a boil, then remove from heat. Stir in 2 tbsp milk, then gradually mix in the 4 cups powdered sugar until the frosting is smooth.

Step 7: Frost: Pour the warm frosting over the completely cooled bars and spread evenly. Allow the bars to cool at room temperature until the frosting sets before cutting and serving.
