Instructions:
- Cook Pasta and Broccoli:
- Boil pasta according to package instructions, adding broccoli for the last 3 minutes.
- Drain, saving 1 cup of pasta water.
- Prepare Chicken:
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Cook in olive oil until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Rest, then cut into bite-size pieces.
- Crispy Bacon:
- Fry chopped bacon until crisp, set aside on paper towels.
- Saute Onion and Garlic:
- Saute chopped onion until translucent, add minced garlic, cook for 1 minute.
- Creamy Cheese Sauce:
- Reduce heat, pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer.
- Gradually add shredded cheddar cheese, stir until smooth.
- Adjust thickness with reserved pasta water.
