No one will believe what you made with the Coca Cola

This unique bread uses Coca Cola not just for flavor, but also to help it rise! The carbonation in the soda and the sugar feed the yeast, creating a light and slightly sweet loaf.

---|---|
Wheat Flour | 300g |
Dry Yeast Powder | 10g |
Salt | 1 teaspoon |
Sugar | 1 tablespoon |
Coca Cola | 250ml |
Vegetable Oil | 25ml |
Instructions:
- Activate the Yeast: In a small bowl, combine the sugar and yeast with the Coca Cola. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.
- Combine Wet and Dry: Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Pour in the yeast mixture and vegetable oil. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the Dough: Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Add more flour if sticky.
- First Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour (or until doubled in size).
- Shape and Second Rise: Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf, and place it in a greased bread pan. Cover and let it rise again for 30 minutes.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the bread for 35 minutes, or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
- Cool and Serve: Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
