Instructions:
- Preheat Oven & Cook Pasta: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook the ziti noodles according to package instructions until they are al dente (meaning they still have a slight bite). Drain the noodles well and set them aside.
- Brown Ground Beef: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until it’s fully browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Once browned, drain any excess fat from the skillet.
- Season Beef: Add the garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the cooked beef, stirring to combine the seasonings evenly.
- Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ziti, browned ground beef, and the Alfredo sauce. Mix everything thoroughly until the ziti and beef are well coated with the sauce.
- Assemble Casserole: Transfer the mixture evenly into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the casserole.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden brown.
- Serve: Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. If desired, garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
