Heavy cream ¾ cup

Instructions:

  1. Prepare onions: Cook frozen pearl onions in boiling water for 3-5 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. Make roux: Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add flour and whisk until golden and bubbly.
  3. Create cream sauce: Gradually whisk in vegetable broth and heavy cream until thickened and smooth.
