My kids said it’s one of the best dinners I’ve ever made

This delicious pepperoni pizza bread is a perfect appetizer or side dish. It’s easy to make and packed with flavor.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Refrigerated pizza dough 1 loaf
Shredded mozzarella cheese 1 1/2 cups
Grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 cup
Pizza or marinara sauce 1/2 cup (plus extra for dipping)
Sliced pepperoni 1/2 cup
Italian seasoning 1 tbsp
Melted butter 2 tbsp
Garlic powder 1 tsp
Red pepper flakes (optional) 1 tsp
Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Sliced black olives
Sliced mushrooms
Cooked sausage
Bell peppers

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a loaf pan or baking sheet.
  2. Roll Out Dough: Roll out pizza dough into a 10×12 inch rectangle.
  3. Add Toppings: Spread pizza or marinara sauce over dough, leaving a border. Sprinkle with mozzarella, Parmesan, pepperoni, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (optional). Add optional toppings.
  4. Roll Up Dough: Starting from one end, roll dough up into a log, tucking in sides. Pinch seams to close. Place seam-side down in prepared pan.
  5. Brush with Butter and Bake: Brush top of dough with melted butter. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Add Cheese and Broil (Optional): Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top in the last 5 minutes of baking. Turn on broiler for 1-2 minutes for a crispier crust.
  7. Slice and Serve: Let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with extra pizza or marinara sauce.
