Cheesy Tater Tot Casserole

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Frozen tater tots 1 bag (32 oz)
Ground beef or ground turkey 1 pound
Cream of mushroom soup or cream of chicken soup 1 can (10.5 oz)
Shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup
Chopped broccoli 2 cups
Salt To taste
Pepper To taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven & Cook Meat: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large skillet, cook the 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey over medium heat until it’s fully browned and no longer pink. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
  2. Combine Meat & Soup: Stir in the 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup or cream of chicken soup with the cooked meat in the skillet, mixing well until thoroughly combined.
  3. Add Broccoli & Season: Add the 2 cups chopped broccoli to the meat and soup mixture, stirring until the broccoli is evenly combined throughout. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Assemble Casserole: Transfer the entire mixture from the skillet to a 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly to form the base of the casserole.
  5. Layer Cheese & Tots: Sprinkle the 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the meat and vegetable mixture. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese, covering the entire surface.
  6. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy, and the casserole is bubbly around the edges.
  7. Cool & Serve: Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. This allows the cheese and sauce to set slightly.

Enjoy your warm and comforting Cheesy Tater Tot Casserole!
