This comforting and easy-to-make Cheesy Tater Tot Casserole features a savory ground meat and broccoli filling topped with melted cheddar cheese and a crispy layer of golden brown tater tots. It’s a perfect weeknight meal that the whole family will enjoy.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Frozen tater tots 1 bag (32 oz)
Ground beef or ground turkey 1 pound
Cream of mushroom soup 1 can (10.5 oz)
or Cream of chicken soup
Shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup
Chopped broccoli 2 cups
Salt To taste
Pepper To taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef or turkey over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup, mixing well with the cooked meat.
  4. Add the chopped broccoli to the meat mixture, stirring until evenly combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the meat and vegetable mixture.
  7. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  9. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
