These biscuits take the classic Cheddar Bay flavor to the next level with a delicious crab filling and a zesty lemon butter topping. They’re perfect as an appetizer or side dish for any seafood lover.

Crab Stuffed Cheddar Bay Biscuits with Lemon Butter

Ingredients:

Biscuits

Ingredient Quantity
Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix 1 package
Garlic 1 tsp
Italian Seasoning 1 tsp

Crab Filling

Lump crab meat 1 pound
Paprika ¼ tsp
Onion powder ½ tsp
Mayonnaise ½ + cup
Mustard 1 tbsp
Ritz crackers ½ sleeve, crushed
Grated Parmesan 1 cup

Lemon Butter

Ingredient Quantity
Melted butter As needed
Lemon juice 1 tsp

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the biscuit mix according to the package directions and set aside.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Spray two muffin tins with nonstick spray.
  3. In a bowl, combine the cooked lump crab meat, paprika, onion powder, mustard, mayonnaise, and crushed Ritz crackers. Stir well, adding a touch more mayonnaise if needed.
  4. Dust your hands with flour. Using a scoop, take some biscuit mix and form a cup shape.
  5. Place a scoop of the crab mixture into the “bowl” of the biscuit.
  6. Cover the crab filling with a little more biscuit dough, sealing the edges.
  7. Continue until all the dough and filling are used.
  8. Place each biscuit into a muffin tin.
  9. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
  10. Brush the baked biscuits with a mixture of melted butter and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Serve warm.
