Shredded cheddar cheese (or blend) 2 cups

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter to prevent sticking.
  2. Cook the Sausage: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until it’s browned and fully cooked, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks. If you are using it, add the chopped onion and cook until it softens, about 3-4 minutes, stirring with the sausage. Drain any excess grease from the skillet and set the cooked sausage mixture aside.
