How to Make Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole:
- Step 1: Prep & Preheat: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Step 2: Cook Pasta & Beef: Cook the spaghetti noodles according to package directions, then drain them well. Toss the hot, drained noodles with the melted butter and a pinch of salt and pepper. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain any excess fat.
- Step 3: Make the Sauces: Stir the spaghetti sauce into the cooked ground beef and mix well. In a separate bowl, stir together the softened cream cheese, cottage cheese, and sour cream until they are well combined.
- Step 4: Assemble the Casserole: Spread half of the prepared spaghetti noodles in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Carefully spread the creamy cheese mixture over the top of the noodles. Place the remaining noodles in a second layer over the cheese mixture. Pour the meat and sauce mixture evenly over the top layer of noodles.
- Step 5: Bake & Serve: Bake the casserole for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven, sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top, and return to the oven to bake for another 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.
