Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Oven and Pan: Preheat your oven to 475°F. Grease an 18”x13”x3/4″ baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Dough:
    • Microwave the water for 30-60 seconds until just warm (not hot).
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, dry milk powder, sugar, yeast, and salt.
    • Add the vegetable oil to the warm water and stir. Then, add the water-oil mixture to the dry ingredients and stir just until a dough forms.
  3. Shape the Crust:
    • Pour the dough onto the prepared baking pan and let it rest for 5 minutes.
    • Spread the dough to the edges of the pan, ensuring even thickness throughout and covering all corners.
    • Bake the crust for 6-8 minutes.
  4. Cook the Meat:
    • While the crust is baking, brown the Italian sausage and ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Break up the meat into small pieces using a spatula or spoon.
  5. Assemble the Pizza:
    • Remove the partially baked crust from the oven.
    • Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the crust.
