Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Butter 2 tablespoons
Chopped onion 1/4 cup
Flour 2 tablespoons
Whole milk 2 cups
Cream cheese, very soft 8 ounces
Sour cream 1/4 cup
Ground nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon
Garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon
Ground cumin 1/2 teaspoon
Ground paprika 1/4 teaspoon
Shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese 2 cups
Turkey breast, cubed 6-8 ounces
Cooked and chopped bacon 8 strips
Cherry tomatoes, halved 1 pint
Parsley, roughly chopped 2 teaspoons
Kosher salt and black pepper To taste
Crackers or bread For dipping

Instructions:

  1. Make the Base:

    • Melt butter in a saucepan. Add onion and sauté until softened.
    • Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes to create a roux.
    • Gradually whisk in milk, then add cream cheese, stirring until smooth.

  2. Add Cheese and Protein:

    • Stir in 1 1/2 cups of cheese until melted.
    • Fold in turkey and bacon.
  3. Assemble and Bake:

    • Transfer mixture to an oven-safe dish.
    • Top with cherry tomatoes and remaining 1/2 cup of cheese.
    • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and hot.
