Italian Drunken Noodles Recipe

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Egg Noodles 12 oz
Ground Italian Sausage 1 lb
Bell Peppers 2, chopped
Minced Garlic 3 tsp
Italian Seasoning 1 tsp
White Cooking Wine ½ cup
Diced Tomatoes (undrained) 28 oz
Dried Basil 1 tbsp
Salt and Pepper To taste
Parmesan Cheese and Fresh Chopped Parsley For garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cook the noodles according to package directions.
  2. Sauté the sausage and peppers: In a large saucepan or skillet, cook the ground Italian sausage and chopped bell peppers over medium-high heat until the sausage is browned and the peppers are softened.
  3. Add aromatics: Lower the heat to medium and add minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Sauté for 30 seconds more.
  4. Deglaze with wine: Pour in the white cooking wine and cook until the liquid has reduced by half.
